What is the difference between the Arch Card and McDonald's Gift Certificates?

To earn your 5% reward, you ust purchase the McDonald's Arch Card and register the card in your Upromise account within 30 days. Provided that you register your card within 30 days of purchase, the first time you register each Arch Card in your Upromise account you will earn a 5% reward on all load and reload activity occurring now until March 31, 2010. If you do not register the Arch Card in your Upromise account within 30 days of the date of purchase, you will not be able to earn the 5% on the original value. Once the 30-day period has expired, or if the Arch Card has been re-registered in a different Upromise account, the Member will only be eligible to earn 1% rewards on re-load activity that occurs after the Arch Card has been registered. Each Arch Card can only be registered in one Upromise account at a time. The Arch Card must be removed from one Upromise account before it can be re-registered in another Upromise account. Your 5% reward will be deposited in your Upromise account within 60 days after your Arch Card has been re-registered or re-loaded, whichever is later. For Arch Card purchases made after 3/31/10, you will only be eligible to receive the standard 1% rewards rate.
